Two Dead, Boy Critical Following Early Morning Two-Alarm Fire In Prince George's County

Two people were killed and a child was injured following a massive two-alarm fire at a multi-family home in Prince George's County on Tuesday morning, officials say.

Shortly before 4 a.m. on July 2, crews were call to Harry S.. Truman Drive in Largo, where they were met by flames showing from the top of a three-story residence.

According to Prince George's County fire officials, one woman and a man both died in the fire, and a young boy suffered critical injuries and was hospitalized.

It is believed that the fire started on the third floor of the building. The cause remains under investigation on Tuesday morning.

No details about the victims have been released by the Prince George's County Fire Department.
